Yes, I miss Stingy Lulu’s more than I’ll miss this iteration of a misguided bar. I dread what is to open there under the lounge format. Also, somehow I think this is recession-unfriendly. You can often get a good beer for less than a cheap cocktail. If they swap beer taps with $12 martinis, they’re 3 years too late for that.
