In re Jezebel Condomgate 2008
All of you commenters who have been going on and on and on about how inappropriate it was of Moe to advocate sex without condoms, do any of you smoke cigarettes? Go out in the sun without sunscreen? Just curious.
I used to lay out in the middle of the street and fake being hurt to make cars stop. Stopped doing it when I realized brakes don’t ALWAYS work.
It IS risky to fuck strangers without a condom, and inappropriate to endorse the act. I haven’t said much about it, I feel like my opinion is well-represented in society, but there is a valid debate to be had on this… one that Moe would certainly lose, based on all our medical knowlege and the nature of human beings (fragile). But Moe is just putting it out there because she doesn’t give a fuck and wants you to not give a fuck as well. At some point her nihilism needs to be counteracted, all of us make different decisions but not all of us believe there is nothing sacred in well-being, and no value to emotional stability…
