Maura is the best, the Voice should be ashamed of themselves, and I’ll switch to whatever outlet/company/blog is lucky enough to get her next.
Tumblr should give her 6 figures to start a Music blog for them, then get the fuck outta the way.
Well, the fact that Tumblr does things like that is part of their problem.
BTW that would be no good for Maura as a career option, unless she has a great idea for publishing a new music site to leverage the Tumblr platform (one that would somehow bring in not just any revenue at all, but actual PROFIT). But no one has any such idea yet for any editorial product. In theory, Tumblr should be making cash rain on its clients. In reality, it’s an endless money pit of narcissism for brands. It’s pretty much the opposite of what Maura wants to be involved with.
But then again, I am all for a mystery benefactor cutting a no-strings-attached check to Maura and then disappearing into the night.
