Self driving cars are just around the corner. They promise to reduce road accidents, ease congestion and revolutionise transport. But how do they work?

People don’t want self-driving cars because it would make their lives easier. People want self-driving cars because they hate operating a car on an emotional level.
Unfortunately there are no other kinds of transportation vehicles that the public can use without needing to personally operate them, so let’s keep hacking away at this problem! Maybe computers can figure out how to give everyone unlimited free on-street parking too!
