Two Penn State stories and a mostly unremarkable Yankees/Athletics game rank above it. Plus: “Broncos visit Colo. shooting victims in hospital” which was clearly more important than the most significant competition in a globally-recognized sport.
You can thank ESPN for the fact that Americans nowadays only recognize three sports and that they just happen to be the three with the most (by far, and absurdly) expensive tickets/concessions/merchandise/subscription/TV access packages. Keep pumping that cartel…
