The package photo for the pre-cooked beets at Trader Joe’s is a simple beets/crumbled feta salad. Normally you could not feed me beets unless I was drunk and starving - turns out I’ve had quite a few beets at the Meatball Shop lately under those exact same conditions, and I normally have problems with feta crumbles turning into not-edible crumbles as they are ignored in the fridge so I can always use more uses for feta than Eggs Florentine…
so I said, why not?
I did not have a flavor expectation for this when I bought it.
It’s fucking delicious.
