It was a quote, dude. As Charles Barkley gushed after the game, “that boy competed tonight.”
The worst part is that it’s still problematic. Barkley is black! There’s nothing awkward about him calling any other black man “boy”. Bill Simmons, on the other hand… pasty white… I definitely wouldn’t go there.
