
Among the lurid tales of sex and violence that haunt the Sundance Film Festival screens, there are few more gruesome and titillating than those of Green Porno, a series of short films made by Isabella Rossellini and her Canadian collaborators.
The films, in which Rossellini dresses up as bugs, worms and snails, and simultaneously describes and demonstrates their mating behaviour, start out mildly enough.
