I’m enjoying that this premise of this article is that the New York Giants are some routinely-dispatched Goliath that Drew Brees can overcome as long as he plays a great game. Umm, that’s not how it works! The Giants are not “giving him a chance” to make any kind of statement! They’ll give him a couple of chances to eat grass, probably… and even so, I expect the Saints to play up to their potential and make this a competitive game… but, as a Giants fan, I will not anticipate this game as a challenge to overcome - I’m going to think of it right from the kickoff as “theirs to lose.” And in any case, if Drew Brees has a hell of a day, it can easily be negated by mistakes by the Saints, or by equally exceptional play by the entire Giants team. So, suck it Pat Yasinskas!
Though I appreciate the opposite-jinx quality that this article possesses. It’s the opposite of reading shit like, “Will the Giants win the Super Bowl by a lot of points this year?” Right, KatieBakes?
