LOLOL, OK DO WE WANNA PLAY THIS GAME, DUMBLR? VONNEGUT QUOTES ON INSTAGRAM PICTURES? OH I’M SOOOOOO DOWN FOR THAT. (I mean, most of them are scathingly profane and cynical, which means all the present-day teenagers will cry and hide under their beds and pray for their mommies to save them and buy them some more shit… the rest of us who were teenagers in the last century will cackle and remember what it was like to be cynical at an age before we were even allowed to see movies that had the F-word in it, so by the time Vonnegut showed up on our frosh English book lists it was a delightful discovery. So, fuck your inspiration! The world sucks! There is music and love and those are the only good things and you get both of those in short supply and the rest of it is suffering and charred corpses and stupid people running everything!
