Re: The Peach/Apple Question
spiers recommends blueberries. josephweisenthal agrees. I’m not sure how blueberries work in hot oatmeal, but I know they’ll work in yogurt. Blueberries are in-season from May until September; they’re generally held in temperature-controlled storage for the other fall/winter months, which isn’t terribly unorganic.
I do have to finish off these three apples and two peaches in the fridge first, though. Fructose bombs that they are. (I’d rate them above eating some HFCS-soaked processed food diet monster, though.)
