THINGS I AM FINDING OUT:
Microsoft actually built something into Windows 7 that vaguely resembles a Unix shell. Not like, “We’re related through Moses” resemblance but more like “Leelee Sobieski looks like Helen Hunt” resemblance.
I know some of you weren’t even born in the days when Microsoft was facing the wrenching decision of whether/not to include a TCP/IP stack in the OS, so let’s just say they’ve come a long fucking way if you can get something like this without having to download some third-party pre-alpha open source Hungarian shit. (I’M NOT LOOKING AT YOU CYGWIN, BECAUSE YOU’RE TOO FUCKING UGLY TO LOOK DIRECTLY IN THE EYES) That’s a big leap right there. Of course everything about Windows is still lame, but…
